Happiness is... "The Deets"

This post is partially in reply to Karianne's request for "the deets" on my "bf" in the comments on the survey post. (Did you get all of that!??)

Yes, I have a bf, even though I've never been wrapped up in relationships. I've always been more of a happy-go-lucky-on-my-own type of girl. I still am but have been fortunate to find someone to compliment that, someone who lets me be me and respects that I have my own goals and things that I want to pursue, someone who doesn't expect me to change from the person that I've always been, someone who respects when I do want to change.

I met J online three years ago. J lives in Australia and I live in Mississippi. We have endured three years of a (very) long-distance relationship with only a few visits. However, your instinct speaks very loudly and I know that, despite being born on separate continents, we are meant for each other. I can't imagine loving someone like I love him or being loved by someone in any other way.

We are currently in the throes of the long process of applying for his visa so that he can move here for us to be together. It can't happen too soon. Wish us luck!
